Great cover. Love the part when they take it a key deeper than the original. Still, nothing beats the Purple version.

At least the version on ACoS is definitely with James LaBrie and without changed Instruments...

It's a great version and Nightmare Cinema was a good idea.

Let me clarify things for you all: Dream Theater recorded this (Deep Purple cover) twice. One by theirselves, with James LaBrie doing the lead vocals, and they did another recording with Bruce Dickinson singing lead. Right now, the Bruce-lead version is what is being sampled here on Last.fm. If you have Dream Theater's "A Change of Seasons", then you have the one with James singing. I don't think the Bruce version was ever "officially" released but it was recorded at BBC 1 Radio studios in January of 1995. It's interesting that last.fm has it.
